Sewing!

Hiya!
Hope everyone is having a good week so far, the time is going so fast it's just a blur!  This card was made using the free stamps and papers from Homemade magazine, the image was coloured with promarkers, the embossed background is one of the new Boofle tri boss folders, the buttons one, added a few stitches round the edges and the tape measure and buttons were on the embellishment page with the papers, faux stitching round the edges and also paper pricking.

Easel card

Hello!  Hope you are all well, its miserable weather here today, dull, grey and raining off and on, I have just got in from work and am staying put now! The card I am sharing today is for my mom's birthday in march, I have made an easel card which I haven't made for such a long time, infact I can't remember when I last made one, not sure why as I do like them. I have used a penny black image coloured with promarkers, Isabelle papers from first edition, m/s doily border punch, memory box die to make the roses, cheery lyn fanciful flourish die, made my own stickpin, marianne fence die and the usual ribbon, pearls etc.

Pearls and Lace!

Morning all!
Woke up to a sprinkling of snow this morning but the sun is shining beautifully now so it has soon melted which is good as its my last day today of my annual leave so back to work tomorrow. Todays card was one of those where I just didn't have a clue where I was going with it, I was just having a play with some cosmic shimmer mica powders which I used to paint the image with and I also used them brushed over versamark for the background, unfortunately you can't see the lovely shimmer in the photo. The image is from Kanban and embossed with wow powder. The gorgeous flower, lace and stickpin were all part of the fabulous candy I received from Craftyloops. The scalloped border is from Die Namics and the distress ink I used was victorian velvet.

Distressed!

Good morning all!
I am enjoying a few unexpected days off work and even though I still have to use the eye drops my eyes are much better so I can make a few cards, yay! I don't do much distressing but I when I saw the Passion for Promarkers challenge I thought I would give it a go. I have used First Edition Isabelle papers, distressed all the edges and inked with crushed velvet distress ink, the image is from Forever Friends black and gold stamp set coloured with promarkers/flexmarkers. The gorgeous stickpin is from Craftyloops.

Clean and Simple!

Evening everyone!
This is my first post for a week as I have had an eye infection in both eyes and have been unable to see properly, it's been a nightmare! I still can't see detail but am definitely over the worst. This card is very clean and simple and I have used one of my favourite stamps ever, I love this adorable Humphrey image, he is coloured with promarkers/flexmarkers, the paper is from dovecraft back to basics  and the embossing was done using a sizzix texture plate.

My first tag!

Hiya!
Well as promised here is the tag I made yesterday, it was made with some of the wonderful goodies I received from CraftyLoops when I won some of her fabulous candy. I always like the look of cards and tags when they have been stamped and distressed but I find this look very difficult to achieve myself so I am very inspired by blogs such as CraftyLoops and Izzwizz, their projects are always amazing.
I used distress inks, silver shimmer mist, stamp from Kanban and wow embossing powder, diecuts and beads.

A Little Cutie!

Hello everyone.
It has been snowing here all day and is freezing cold so I had the perfect excuse to stay in and craft today, I made my first tag with distress inks but will have to upload that tomorrow as the light is no good now to take a photo. This card is for my niece Isabella, the papers and image are both from Wild Rose Studio, the image is coloured with flexmarkers, sentiment from Cuddly Buddly and embellishments from stash.

Hello!

Good evening everyone!
No card from me today but just wanted to share my excitement, I was one of the lucky winners of Lee's (craftyloops) candy and it arrived today and I can't tell you how wonderful it is, everything is amazing and all so beautifully packaged, I have to say Lee's trademark flowers are truly gorgeous and when I have finished drooling over everything I might be able to part with some of it to make a card! I can't thank Lee enough for her kindness and am sure the other winners are as thrilled with their goodies as I am.
I was also a winner over at C.R.A.F.T challenge blog today so all in all a very good day!
I was also a winner at Make It Monday and last week I won some gorgeous ribbons over at An Oldie but a Goodie, phew!  I must be on a roll, lol!
Well thats it for me today, am going to relax with a large glass of wine and stroke my goodies!
Hugs to all, Jayne. x  x

Little Rascals

Good morning all!
The card I am going to share today was made for The Little Rascals Challenge over on docrafts, I haven't taken part in one of the challenges for ages and this image fitted the bill, I coloured it to have a go with spectrum noir pens, I usually use promarkers but as a few were running out I thought  it was an opportunity to try these pens as they are cheaper and refillable. They blended nicely and worked alongside my promarkers so I may consider more in the future as I only got the turquoise set.  Anyway onto the card, I used a LOTV image, papers from my scrap box, M/S zigzag border punch and fiskars star punch.

Card for Lily

Good morning!
Have got up late this morning so just a quick post before I get on with preparing lunch.  This is a card I was asked to make for a lovely little girl called Lily, I hope she likes it.  I have used Daisy decoupage, I haven't used decoupage in ages, it seemed strange not colouring an image but made a change.

Thank you!

Evening peeps!
The card I want to share tonight is a thank you card that I made for a very good docrafts buddy that was kind enough to send me a lovely present of some marianne dies of a little picket fence, bird and birdhouse, they are so lovely and I can see me using them loads! I also used  a die from Memory Box to make the small roses, a Cheery Lyn die called fanciful flourish and the backing paper is from Kanban, from the Bloomsbury collection that I totally forgot I had.
Again I apologise for the rubbish photo as the light has been terrible again.

Favourite stamp

Hello!
I made this card when I saw the current LOTV challenge which was to use your favourite LOTV stamp and although I love most of the LOTV stamps this one has always been my favourite and as I haven't used it in a while I couldn't wait to get it inked up again. It is such an adorable stamp and so versatile, I have used it for birthdays, anniversaries, thank you, get well, thinking of you and I even turned the flower into a poinsettia and used it for christmas! Well I suppose I should stop waffling and actually show you my favourite stamp, lol!
The colours aren't showing up that great as the last few days the light hasn't been good for taking photo's. The image is coloured with flexmarkers and prisma pencils, the papers are Isabelle from First Edition, spring border from Memory Box, doily border punch from M/S and of course the image and sentiment are LOTV.

Best of British!

Good evening bloggers!   Another monday out of the way (I hate mondays at work). This card was one of those unplanned ones that just sort of happen if you know what I mean. I had the Portobella Road papers for christmas and although I love them I wasn't at all sure what to do with them, then while searching for a stamp for another card I came across London Lofty which I brought absolutely ages ago just because it was on sale at 99p then I wondered why on earth I had brought it and its just been pushed to one side and never inked up so I thought I would try the two things together and see what happens, lol and here is the result!
I used Portobella Road papers, distress inks, London Lofty and crown coloured with promarkers, brother sentiment from Cuddly Buddly.

New Beginnings!

Hello everyone, hope you've all had a great start to the new year!  Todays card is a white on white card using a cute LOTV image, the cardstock is linen card and I have embossed the top with a heart embossing folder from country companions, the bottom is a swiss dots folder from cuttlebug and the embossed lines down the side were done on the hougie board. I have also used the doily border punch from martha stewart and the hearts and ducks are dies from xcut and some ribbon, pearls and and charm completes the card. Oh almost forgot my new die is the spellbinders pennants that I used for the baby bunting.

Red Christmas!

Hello everyone!
It has been so cold here today, as soon as I finished work I decided to stay in the warm and finally finish my christmas cards, I have been so behind this year. This card is my first attempt at colouring on kraft card, I need lots more practice but I do like the effect, it sort of makes the image look quite old fashioned if you know what I mean. I used my favourite LOTV image and used prisma pencils to colour it, memory box snowflake border and wooden snowflakes.

I am neglecting my blog but I have been trying desperately hard to get some christmas cards made as I have started to receive them but haven't any to send! I am sooooo behind! This card is not the colours I would usually use for a christmas card but a change is as good as a rest as they say.

Humphrey!

Good afternoon everyone!  Have had a very busy morning at work so am having a relaxing afternoon. I have only just started using Kraft card but have to say I really like it and I love this Humphrey stamp, he is adorable and so easy to colour, I used promarkers. The flourish die is a Cheery Lyn one and then I just made the flowers freehand as I haven't a die for those (yet) and of course the doily border punch from M/S.

Kraft Christmas

Morning all!
I have managed to make quite a few cards this week however my holiday is over now and its back to work for me so it'll be back to not posting very often again, there's never enough time for the most enjoyable things! Anyway this card is my first attempt at using kraft card and also have used distress inks which I am not that good at but plan to start using them more. I'm not entirely sure about this card, it's one of those where one minute I like it and the next minute I don't, lol! I'm not sure what the image is as it was sent to me ages ago when I used to take part in the wallet swaps over on docrafts. The snowflakes are sizzix dies and I have embossed one in brass embossing powder and decorated the other with blue glitter glue and a viva pearl pen. The rosette was made on hougie board and the round reindeer stamp was free with craft stamper magazine.

It' snow time!

Hello!
Have spent today recovering from my trip to the NEC yesterday! It was a brilliant day but so tiring, I haven't even unpacked my bags yet, there was so much choice I nearly didn't spend anything because I just couldn't make up my mind what to get, I am sooooo indecisive! It's been a few years since I last went so I really enjoyed it and even managed to get a couple of christmas presents!
Anyway todays card is another christmas one using the gorgeous memory box snowflake border die, I absolutely love this die and have used it on my last four cards. I have used a popcorn the bear image coloured with promarkers on a distress inked background with some gems.

Another busy week gone by without me posting any cards but have got a week off soon so will hopefully get some cards made especially as I will  have some new goodies to play with after I've been to the NEC next week, can't wait as it's been about five years since I last went! Anyway I made this card for the challenge over at LOTV.
I have finally got around to using my new border snowflake die from memory box, I love it!

WOW WOW WOW!

Hi everyone.
No card from me today although I have managed to make two but haven't taken photo's yet but just had to share with you what a brilliant day I had yesterday in blogland!  I haven't been blogging long so it's all still new to me and yesterday I won my first blog candy from Craftylyn, I was over the moon to have won and this is the fabulous candy

A triple c.d of  popcorn the bear, how fabulous is that? I can't thank Lyn enough for this amazing candy.

THEN...... While I was still getting over the excitement of winning the c.d I discovered that I had won the festive bloghop over at Wild Rose Studio, I was stunned to have won two prizes in one day or at all for that matter. This is what I have won
I feel so lucky and can't wait to play with the faulous goodies, they should keep me quiet for a considerable amount of time, Thank you so much to Dulcie at WRS, I am very grateful!

Well hopefully be back tomorrow with a card, love Jayne.  x  x
